Biography:
Travell Adams (born 12/10/1985) better known by his stage name T.R.A.Y. which stands for Travell Rhymes And You, is an american musician, writer, and visual artist.

In 2009 his single "Dear Dr. King" a tribute to the last civil rights leader, racked in over 70,000 downloads after being released online. The song earned the artist a huge online fan base, radio play, and major publicity. By the end of the year T.R.A.Y. went on to record several online hits like "Eveyrday is Valentines" and "My Favorite Song". All were later released on his debut album "T.R.A.Y. - So Midwest Hollywood" which went on to become a classic amongst fans.

Following the success of So Midwest Hollywood, T.R.A.Y. partnered with an independent label from Ohio called Prospect Entertainment to release what is now known as "T.R.A.Y. - Home 4 the 1st Time". The collection was promoted on a small regional tour, and despite major critical acclaim the release managed to bring in 20,000 downloads and 1,700 hard copy sales with songs like "Had Enough", "Self Portrait", and "2Gether". After Home 4 the 1st Time, T.R.A.Y. finished out the year recording several features, and freestyles which further established his lyrical prowess among fellow MCs.

In 2011, He extended his partnership with P.A.C.E World Media Group and together they released "T.R.A.Y. - The HitList: 1" a collection of some of the artists most popular songs. The HitList went on to be downloaded over 40,000 Times, and was followed up by a sequal in "T.R.A.Y. - The HitList: 2" the next year.

The year 2013 marked a pivitol point in the artist's music and creative career in which T.R.A.Y. released 3 whole projects back to back to back. "T.R.A.Y. - Book of Psalms" was his first all experimental album as it shocased the beginning of a new style of song writing. The release however went under the radar as many fans believed the artist may have reached his creative peak, and download numbers had began to slip. In response Travell immediately took to the internet to release "T.R.A.Y. - Blue Ivy" a collection of freestyles recorded over instrumentals of the most popular hip hop songs at the time. As an added bonus, bare vocals were left at the end of most tracks to be used by DJ's and studio engineers for promotional purposes.

Toward the end of year, one of T.R.A.Y.'s most popular releases debuted in the form of a self titled mixtape, "Travell Rhymes And You" The LP was originally slated to be released as the trilogy, and final installment to his HitList Collection. Many songs on the album have went on to become all time favorites such as "Fuck You", "End Up Paid", "I'm Grown Now", and "Just My Type". The mixtape was also launched on a brand new website called TravellRhymes.com. Both the mixtape and website simultaneously went viral upon its release due to savy online marketing as people searching for the site found the mixtape and vice-verse, and with a track list of 15 songs plus bonus tracks it provide fans with the most comprehensive display of all his various styles. It is still his highest grossing project to date.

2014, was an iffy year for the artist, coming off the success of his last project he felt his career was complete and that there was nothing left to accomplish. He wanted to bridge the gap between his east coast and west coast fanbases so he re-released most of his previously published material on the new site and planned to stop working on music for a while. Towards the summer due to high consumer demand, friends and family convinced Travell to do another project. Insert T.R.A.Y. Moment of Truth. The point of the album was to be his final project for fans and family. It was also the first album he released after having a full website and online network established worldwide. Several songs became favorites as fans now had an official place to directly download, stream, and listen to everything T.R.A.Y. The "Moment of Truth" also was a testament to see how many sales he could gain using nothing but online marketing and social media to promote and distribute his music and the album became a major success with bloggers and new fans from around the world. Sales numbers were considered a huge success as they came very close but did not eclipse his previous project.

To date, T.R.A.Y. has independently released a total of 9 full music projects, over 200 singles and several music videos. In the fall of 2015, the artist confirmed he was working on his 10th collection which was set to be published by P.A.C.E.World Media Group. Since then rumors have spead about the release really being his final musical endeavor. The project was titled T.R.A.Y. All Access and released near the top of the year 2016. Sales, streams, and downloads are still being calculated as the album's distribution is still awaiting a final tally from all major music streaming services . Title: T.R.A.Y. - Blue Ivy (LP) Related Music: T.R.A.Y. - Book Of Psalms: 7 Mixtape Review: T.R.A.Y. aka Travell Rhymes and You blossoms  on his latest mixtape release. Lyrically this is some of his best work yet. Listen to the Eminem styled track titled "iEM GOD" where he does the vocals of 4 different characters in one song. "Yuck a.k.a. Ugggh" is literally one of T.R.A.Y. most popular freestyles, as he raps on a rugged fast pace tempo, keeping up with the original beat. The freestyle marks the beginning of recording sessions that will eventually lead to other full length albums. There are many well put together verses and he kills his own remix to already popular songs by Drake, Kendrick Lamar, 2Chainz, and Meek Mill. In true T.R.A.Y. fashion each song features complex rhyme patterns, he also leaves a few treats for fans and artists looking to feature on his songs. Listen/Download Below.      ...
