My grandmother Alma Wright used to take care of me summers I spending going back home while school was out.A lot of people dont realize my original background and family is from Saginaw and Flint Michigan. Over the weekend I got a chance to go back home and share some moments with my family as we mourned the loss of a very important part of our family tree.

Since the release of his early 2016 effort All Access, T.R.A.Y. has been very silent in the studio. Over the weekend, he previewed some new songs on his Instagram account. "Listening to a new mix" wrote T.R.A.Y. on an Instagram post. After the proclamation that he's back in the studio, he unleashed a snippet featuring him rapping over a hard-hitting trap-beat.  Last year, he promised to be done with music period and remained mum regarding any upcoming work. With his recent output on Instagram, and Snapchat, T.R.A.Y. may have revived some motivation to drop another project by the end of the year. Listen to the snippet below. Now that Bryson Tiller has hit the charts with one of the most popular Rnb jams of today. A lot of people are weighing in on the fact that the original beat used for the song was first published by T.R.A.Y. nearly a year ago, and features an explicit rap chorus instead of the now chopped and screwed version by Bryson. The real questions here is which song sounds better using the same beat, although one has undoubtedly became the most popular. Jay Z’s music streaming site has announced that they now have a new artist (to join the many others). T.R.A.Y. aka Travell Rhymes And You, one of the most respected and hardest-working rappers in Ohio hip hop, has signed on to promote  his latest release on Tidal. As if announcing the release of a new project after last year's "Moment of Truth LP" wasn’t going to make enough of a splash, the rapper says he will be premiering new music exclusively on Tidal. Travell says he intends for his upcoming release to be a full album that he intends to distribute to his day one fans.  The rapper hasn't released any new music since the fall of 2014. Never one to sit back and take time off, he is always constantly working, and tons of new music that all has to go somewhere.
